Three Tips for Better Grilling with Chilean Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Ah, summer time – good friends, picnics, parties, and grilling. Grab your BBQ tongs and plenty of Chilean Extra Virgin Olive Oil for great grilling every time!

Here are our three favorite tips for better grilling:

1. Keep an olive oil mister filled with Chilean EVOO handy when grilling! Mist meats, poultry and especially fish throughout the grilling process – the mist creates a nice glaze.

2. It’s easy to grill vegetables! Soak vegetables in cold water for 30 minutes, then cut into pieces of even thickness and brush lightly with Chilean extra virgin olive oil  for a great tasting, healthy treat!

3. Use Chilean EVOO to make the perfect burger! Form the patties a few hours ahead of time and refrigerate to firm them up. Add kosher salt and ground pepper. Then brush with Chilean EVOO before grilling for that special  extra layer of flavor.

We love to match grilled meat with fresh pasta. Try sprinkling salt & pepper (or your favorite spice rub) on a chicken breast, then drizzling with Chilean EVOO.  Place on a hot grill for 25 minutes, or until done, turning after 12 minutes.  Arrange over delicious Cilantro Pesto Linguine.
