Chilean Oil Takes Gold…In Italy (again)

Over 200 extra virgin oils competed in this year’s competition. And…

“The Chilean premium wine and olive oil producer TerraMater has claimed the top prize at this year’s Sol d’Oro Competition — part of the SOL International Exhibition of Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil held each year in the northern Italian city of Verona.”

“The fact that a Chilean oil received the most important international award of its kind for the third time is not a matter of luck. It says that we’re doing things right and are able to compete with the best in the industry. It’s also great to see that other Chilean olive oils were recognized in the competition,” said Alfredo Schiappacasse, general manager of TerraMater.
